I am incredibly grateful.  I want to see more representation of Latina women in the communications field and hopefully be of inspiration to those who come after me. I hope to open my own public relations firm in the future that will focus on helping small Latino business owners so they can excel in their particular business.

Since 1983, CUPRAP has awarded the Diversity Scholarship to a deserving minority student. The scholarship is open to all minority and LGBTQ students attending an accredited CUPRAP member- institution.

Selection of a recipient for the $2,500 award is based on academic ability, communication skills and creativity as demonstrated through work samples and financial need.
