Summer started off very well in relation to COVID-19. Cases dropped and colleges moved ahead with optimistic plans of students returning– many maskless– for the fall semester. Now, as the Delta variant takes hold and cases begin to rise while vaccinations rates have dropped, this Inside Higher Ed article suggests that it may be time to revisit campus plans for the fall 2021 semester.
