A negative opinion of the higher education industry has been increasing, especially in the last few years. Fraught with concerns over rising tuition costs to public perception that college does not provide the necessary skills for jobs, the industry is embattled and faces negative backlash. That is why this Inside Higher Ed article suggests we in the industry reclaim the narrative and tell the many stories of amazing things higher education is doing– and the advances it provides to the public.
