Containing COVID-19 on small campuses
Higher education institutions nationwide are struggling with the containment of COVID-19. As large universities are reporting hundreds of cases, many small colleges are reporting single digit infections. Those numbers seem small, but may yield a hefty percentage because the total student body is not large. Studies are finding, though, that COVID-19 spreads differently at small campuses than large ones, which may make it easier to contain. This Inside Higher Ed article explains.
