The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Director of Enrollment Marketing and Digital Communications. This position is responsible for driving enrollment growth by providing oversight, leadership, and management of all enrollment-focused marketing/communications at the institution. This position leads and oversees a comprehensive marketing program, including the creation and execution of strategic, goal-based, data-driven marketing/communications in order to expand the North Alabama brand domestically and internationally.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include gathering and interpreting market research findings, identifying new markets, and developing and implementing marketing/communications strategies that attract target audiences. This position generates imaginative marketing strategies, promotes brand identity by creating and directing compelling communication pieces, and oversees the development and maintenance of the university website and social media platforms. This position will provide oversight and supervision for the Enrollment Marketing and Digital Communications unit, including selection, training, evaluating, mentoring, and motivating staff, including the provision of corrective counsel as appropriate.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred; Three to five years of marketing and communications experience in higher education or a closely-related industry is required; and prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
