Move over viewbook– you’ll never guess what replaced you
Hampden-Sydney College, one of the few remaining all male colleges, did not want to forego the traditional viewbook, but wanted to create something that prospective students actually read. The Swagalog is a magazine that showcases the school, but in a fun way with humorous articles that people want to read. Jeff Norris, vice president for enrollment at Hampden-Sydney College, said those who saw the magazine “have remarked that there ™s no way they couldn ™t open this magazine to see what ™s inside, which is exactly what we were going for.” This Inside Higher Ed article explains.
